Labs
A lab is a model that runs. Nothing on the screen is an animation played back to you: a part lights up because it acted this tick, and if you break the input it goes dark. Double-click a part to go inside it and the same rule holds one level down.
Each lab belongs to a phase of a handbook, and reads best in that order — but none of them needs the ones before it to run.
